17 days left – exclusive Night Light show & East Bay Punk tour!

Thank you all SO much! We’ve broken 2 milestones – 300 people have donated & we’ve made almost $19,000 from our indiegogo campaign centered around the Fox Theater show next month. There are only 17 days left!

We want to highlight TWO super-cool events that are happening Sunday February 28th the weekend after the Fox Theater show!

Sunday 2/28 we’re throwing a 4PM afternoon party at the Night Light in downtown Oakland.

The bill is the M&M Duo (from MOETAR), Bill Collins (FANG, MDC) and Cinder Block (TILT), & DJ Jesse Luscious spinning your fave East Bay punk hits!  There is one more SUPER-SECRET special guest.

It starts right after the Bike Tour of East Bay Punk ends nearby. Drink Specials too! 21+ & not wheelchair accessible.

Tickets to this show, the Bike Tour of East Bay Punk, and more only available by donating directly to 924 Gilman here!

Exclusive Green Day listening party tickets!

We’re proud to announce that we’ve teamed up with the non-profit UnderCover Presents for a tribute to Green Day’s “Dookie” in order to raise money for the continued operations of our beloved 924 Gilman Street. Given Green Day’s history with and continued support of 924 Gilman, it was a natural choice to work on this production together.

We’ve fleshed out our fundraising goals!

We’ve made our fundraising goals a lot clearer and specific in coordination with the Membership Meeting (that’s where the major decisions for the collective are made)!

Goals of our fundraising drive:

  1. Possibly buy our building or a building at some point in the future. (We’re not currently in the process of purchasing a building)
  2. Lower our door prices to expand economic access to our programming.
  3. Expand our programming to encourage greater diversity in booking and greater outreach to currently under-served cultural populations & art genres.
  4. Perform building repairs & capital improvements (like installing a new emergency exit double door)
